Iran wins 2025 Women’s paralympic sports award

DOHA, Qatar (MNTV) — Iran’s National Paralympic Committee has been named the 2025 Outstanding Member for Women’s Sports Development by the International Paralympic Committee (IPC), a recognition of the country’s efforts in advancing opportunities for female athletes with disabilities.

The award, announced on March 8, 2025, during the International Women’s Day Awards, underscores Iran’s commitment to fostering inclusivity and gender equality in Paralympic sports. It marks a major milestone in the nation’s expanding role within the global Paralympic movement.
