Trump warns of ‘extremely hard’ strikes ahead as Iran objectives near completion
Donald Trump declared Wednesday night that Washington's core strategic aims inside Iran are "nearing completion"
WASHINGTON, United States (MNTV) – U.S. President Donald Trump declared Wednesday night that Washington’s core strategic aims inside Iran are “nearing completion,” warning of intensified strikes over the coming weeks while keeping diplomatic channels open.
In a nationally televised address titled Operation Epic Fury, Trump claimed American forces have delivered “swift, decisive, overwhelming victories” over the past month and confirmed that military operations would continue at full force. “We’re going to hit them extremely hard over the next two to three weeks. We’re going to bring them back to the Stone Ages, where they belong,” he said.
Trump acknowledged that 13 American service members have died and around 303 have been injured since the operation began on February 28, which has also killed more than 1,340 people in Iran including former Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei. He urged the nation to honor the fallen by completing the mission.
The president revealed that the U.S. has deliberately avoided striking Iranian oil fields, calling them “the easiest target of all,” but warned that if diplomacy fails, “each and every one of their electric generating plants” would be struck “very hard, and probably simultaneously.”
On the Strait of Hormuz, Trump said America imports almost no oil through the waterway and suggested other nations reliant on it should “protect it, use it for yourselves.” He predicted the strait “will open up naturally” once the conflict ends, and confirmed that discussions with Tehran remain “ongoing.”
