Qatar records over $110M in weekly real estate transactions
Sales concentrated in Doha, Al Rayyan, and key residential areas point to better infrastructure and lifestyle in the areas
DOHA, Qatar (MNTV) — Qatar’s real estate sector recorded QAR 401,393,768 ($110M) in sales contracts during the week of April 13 to 17, according to the latest bulletin from the Real Estate Registration Department at the Ministry of Justice.
The report also showed that sales contracts for residential units alone amounted to QAR 40,020,653 during the same period.
The weekly bulletin highlighted a range of properties involved in the transactions. These included vacant plots of land, residential homes, apartment buildings, and individual residential units.
Sales activity was spread across multiple municipalities, with significant deals recorded in Al Rayyan, Doha, Al Dhaayen, Al Wakrah, Umm Salal, Al Khor and Al Dhakira, and Al Shamal.
Popular areas such as Lusail (Zone 69), the Pearl, Ghar Thuailib, Umm Al Amad, Dafna (Zone 60), and Legtaifiya also saw notable trading activity.
These figures reflect continued investor interest in Qatar’s property market, driven by urban expansion and development projects in major residential and mixed-use zones.
