Kaspersky, Oman Data Park partner to strengthen cybersecurity
New agreement aims to enhance cyber resilience, boost digital defenses, and support Oman’s ongoing digital transformation efforts
MUSCAT, Oman (MNTV) — Global cybersecurity firm Kaspersky has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Oman Data Park (ODP), the country’s leading managed services and cloud provider, to enhance national cyber resilience and strengthen defenses against increasingly sophisticated digital threats.
The agreement establishes a joint framework for technical collaboration, intelligence sharing, and coordinated incident response, aimed at improving Oman’s capacity to prevent, detect, and mitigate cyberattacks across both public and private sectors.
As part of the partnership, Kaspersky and ODP will also develop specialized training programs and awareness campaigns targeting corporate leaders, employees, and end-users. The initiatives are intended to cultivate a stronger cybersecurity culture by promoting best practices and improving readiness against evolving threats.

“Through this collaboration with Oman Data Park, we are bringing our global expertise closer to customers in Oman, ensuring stronger protection for critical sectors,” he said.
Eng. Maqbool Al Wahabi, CEO of Oman Data Park, described the partnership as a key milestone in advancing the country’s digital transformation. “By combining ODP’s local experience with Kaspersky’s global threat intelligence, we can offer stronger, more reliable protection for Oman’s businesses and government institutions,” he said.
