Israel’s Genocide Continues: Six Palestinians Killed in Latest Attacks across Gaza
Israeli strikes killed at least six Palestinians across Gaza as rights advocates accused Israel of continuing attacks on civilians despite the October 2025 ceasefire
GAZA CITY, Palestine (MNTV) — Israeli occupation forces continued the campaign of genocide across the Gaza Strip, killing at least six Palestinians and wounding several others in fresh attacks over the past 24 hours despite a ceasefire that took effect in October 2025.
The latest Israeli assaults targeted residential buildings, tents sheltering displaced families and other civilian locations, while occupation forces also carried out ground incursions, artillery bombardments and naval attacks across different parts of the besieged enclave.
Medical officials at Al-Shifa Hospital said Mohammed Tayseer Obeid was killed after an Israeli drone bombed an apartment inside the Al-Taj residential building on Al-Yarmouk Street in central Gaza City.
Six civilians, most of them women and children, were reported injured in the strike. Another Israeli missile hit an apartment on Al-Muassasat Street west of Gaza City, causing further destruction.
In a separate attack north of Khan Younis, an Israeli drone strike killed Anas Hamdan, 34, identified as a military media official of Hamas’ Al-Qassam Brigades. Five other Palestinians were wounded in the same strike.
Earlier, Israeli forces also bombed a tent sheltering displaced civilians in the Al-Mina area west of Gaza City, killing another Palestinian. The attack added to a growing list of strikes on makeshift shelters housing families forced from their homes by months of Israeli bombardment.
Ground operations also intensified across southern Gaza. Israeli military vehicles advanced into areas east of Al-Qarara, north of Khan Younis, under heavy artillery cover before later withdrawing, according to local sources.
In Rafah, occupation forces installed a new military gate on Al-Rashid Road near the High Class area of Al-Mawasi while maintaining sand barriers and fortified positions that continue to isolate the city from the rest of the Gaza Strip.
Israeli tanks shelled eastern Khan Younis and western Rafah, while artillery bombardments also struck eastern Gaza City. Israeli naval vessels simultaneously opened fire toward the coastlines of Gaza City, Khan Younis and Rafah.
According to Gaza’s Health Ministry, hospitals received four bodies and 28 injured people during the latest reporting period, including one Palestinian who later succumbed to wounds sustained in an earlier Israeli attack.
The ministry said rescue workers remain unable to recover many victims because bodies are trapped beneath collapsed buildings or in areas made inaccessible by relentless Israeli bombardment and ongoing military operations.
Health officials said that since the ceasefire came into effect on Oct. 11, 2025, Israeli attacks have killed 1,127 Palestinians, wounded 3,643 others and left recovery teams to retrieve around 800 additional bodies from destroyed neighborhoods.
Since Israel launched its military offensive on Gaza in October 2023, the Health Ministry says at least 73,250 Palestinians have been killed and 173,751 wounded, with large parts of the territory reduced to ruins amid what numerous international experts, human rights organizations and legal scholars have described as a genocidal campaign.
