Israeli drone strike kills Palestinian woman in Gaza amid ceasefire violations
Several others wounded, some critically, after drone strikes rooftop of home in Gaza City
GAZA CITY, Palestine (MNTV) — A Palestinian woman was killed and several others were wounded Monday in an Israeli drone strike in Gaza City, as attacks continued despite a ceasefire in effect since Oct. 10, 2025.
Medical sources said the woman was killed when a drone struck the rooftop of a home in the Al-Nafaq area of central Gaza City. Several people were wounded, some critically.
Witnesses said the strike also hit a tin-roofed room at the site.
Earlier Monday, a Palestinian was seriously wounded after Israeli forces shot him in the head near the Six Martyrs Roundabout, west of the Jabalia refugee camp, according to a medical source.
Israeli artillery also shelled eastern areas of Gaza City at dawn, witnesses said.
Israeli naval forces opened heavy fire toward coastal areas of Gaza City, Deir al-Balah in central Gaza and Khan Younis in the south. No casualties were reported from the naval fire.
Gaza’s Health Ministry says at least 1,421 Palestinians have been killed and nearly 5,000 wounded by Israeli fire since the ceasefire took effect.
Since October 2023, Israeli attacks have killed more than 74,000 Palestinians and wounded over 175,000 others, according to Gaza health authorities.
Around 90% of Gaza’s civilian infrastructure has also been destroyed during the war.
