Yemeni Forces launch missile attack on Tel Aviv, in response to Israeli strikes
Military spokesperson says Ben Gurion Airport and other Israeli cities targeted in joint operation
SANA’A, Yemen (MNTV) — The Yemeni Armed Forces announced on Monday that they had carried out a coordinated missile and drone operation targeting multiple locations in Israel, including Ben Gurion Airport in Tel Aviv.
According to a statement delivered by military spokesman Brigadier General Yahya Saree, the joint offensive involved the launch of 11 ballistic missiles and unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), which struck several Israeli cities as part of what the group described as a “legitimate response” to Israeli aggression.
Saree also claimed that Yemen’s air defense systems successfully intercepted and neutralized Israeli attempts to strike various Yemeni cities, stating that “the Zionist enemy’s plan to target several areas in our country has been thwarted.”
The military action marks the latest escalation in regional tensions, as the Yemeni Armed Forces continue their campaign of solidarity with Palestinians amid the ongoing conflict in Gaza.
Yemen has previously targeted Israeli-linked vessels and infrastructure in retaliation for Israeli military operations in the region.
There was no immediate confirmation from Israeli authorities regarding the reported missile and drone strikes on Tel Aviv or other urban centers.
