NEW YORK, United States (MNTV) – Three people were killed Thursday when two helicopters collided midair near an airport in the US state of Oregon, CNN reported.
Yamhill County Sheriff Sam Elliott confirmed the fatalities near McMinnville Municipal Airport during a news conference.
He noted that one of the helicopters was carrying two people — a flight instructor from Texas and a student pilot from the UK.
The other helicopter had only a pilot, who had been identified as a man from Oregon.
