Israeli attacks kill 13 more Palestinians in Gaza despite ceasefire
Health Ministry says victims continue to die as Israeli violations persist, with many bodies still trapped beneath rubble and rescue teams unable to reach them
GAZA CITY, Palestine (MNTV) — At least 13 Palestinians were killed and 18 others wounded in Israeli attacks across the Gaza Strip during the past 24 hours, despite a ceasefire that has officially been in effect since Oct. 10, 2025, according to the Palestinian Health Ministry.
The ministry said hospitals across the enclave received the bodies of 13 victims, including 12 people killed in fresh Israeli attacks and one person who later succumbed to injuries sustained in an earlier strike.
Health officials added that the actual death toll is expected to rise, as numerous victims remain buried beneath collapsed buildings or stranded in inaccessible areas.
Ambulance crews and civil defense teams have been unable to reach many of them because of the extensive destruction and ongoing security risks.
The latest killings underscore Israel’s continued violations of the ceasefire agreement, which Palestinian authorities say has repeatedly been breached through deadly military attacks despite commitments to halt hostilities.
According to the Health Ministry, Israeli attacks since the ceasefire took effect have killed 1,123 Palestinians and injured 3,616 others. Rescue teams have also recovered around 800 bodies from areas that had previously remained inaccessible.
The ministry said Israel’s military offensive since Oct. 8, 2023, has now killed at least 73,246 Palestinians and wounded 173,727 others, while reducing much of Gaza to ruins.
Around 90% of the territory’s civilian infrastructure has been destroyed, leaving hospitals, schools, homes and essential public services devastated and forcing the vast majority of the population into prolonged humanitarian suffering.
