How Dare Someone Deliver Medicines to Dying Palestinians in Gaza? Israel Will Not Have It.
While the world oscillates between natural human outrage and silence enforced by fear of doxing and online attacks from Christian and Jewish Zionists (add Hindu Zionists to that list as well), Israel and its ruling cabal are clear: no help must reach the dying Gazans. If you view it from their perspective, a horrifying and diabolically twisted rationale begins to take shape.
For 77 years, they have attempted to prove to the world how misunderstood they are, conflating Judaism with Zionism, keeping the world fearful of accusations of anti-Semitism, and twisting biblical verses to justify violence against innocents. On the opposite side is the ultimate prize they have long sought—Palestine, devoid of any living Arab Muslim or Christian. They have chosen that path and have resorted to killing, assassination, and threats against anyone who stands in their way, all while risking the exposure of their own brutality to the world.
People from around the globe have watched in horror, but it took special courage for individuals to attempt to bring assistance to the beleaguered Palestinians. Many have tried and failed. Undeterred, an Ontario doctor, Dr. Hassan Kappasi from Guelph, Ontario, attempted the journey himself. He took shelter inside a UN bus heading from Jordan to Gaza, but there was no way to reach Gaza without passing through Israel, where his journey ultimately ended. An Israeli border officer stopped him and informed him that he could not enter, not for smuggling weapons, but because he was carrying “medical equipment.” Specifically, he brought along a stethoscope and bandages.
This was not Dr. Kappasi’s first humanitarian effort; he has a long history of providing aid in South Sudan, Bangladesh, and Iraq. Yet Israel disregarded this and focused instead on the potential that Dr. Kappasi could use his stethoscope and bandages to save a life—a child or a nursing mother—which would leave one more individual for the IOF to kill:
The bus carrying Dr. Kappasi was stopped at the Allenby Bridge, also known as the King Hussein Bridge, for a routine baggage check by an Israeli border guard. The guard discovered general medical supplies, including a stethoscope, a temperature probe, Band-Aids, and blood pressure cuffs.
Dr. Kappasi stated that the guard informed him he was denied entry because they believed he intended to distribute these items in Gaza.
“It’s kind of arbitrary because everyone in the convoy who’s medical has similar supplies,” he remarked. “They gave me a piece of paper stating that I’m a security threat or a threat to public safety, and that I can never enter Israel again.
The document cited the reason for denying Dr. Kappasi entry as “public security, public safety, or public order considerations.”
We trust that the irony is not lost on our readers. The doctor attempting to enter Gaza to save lives was labeled a “threat to public safety,” while those committing violence against Gazans were portrayed as their protectors.
At this point, you might wonder: “What has happened to this world? I never knew humans could be this cruel, such monsters!” We hear you, and unfortunately, we have no satisfying answer.
