Two workers on US Senate candidate’s campaign registered as Israeli foreign agents: Report
Campaign contractor reportedly employs individuals involved in a $46.5 million Israeli government communications project
MICHIGAN (MNTV) – Two individuals working on Republican Senate candidate Mike Rogers’ campaign in Michigan have registered as foreign agents representing Israeli interests in the United States, according to a report published Sunday.
Abigail Ronson, a campaign spokesperson, and Jesse Stokes, a communications specialist, have both worked on Israeli government communications initiatives while contributing to Rogers’ campaign through Convergence Media, a major campaign contractor, Drop Site News reported.
According to the report, Ronson registered under the US Foreign Agents Registration Act (FARA) in May 2026 for work involving Havas Media Network through Clocktower X LLC, a firm linked to former Trump campaign manager Brad Parscale.
Her filing lists her responsibilities as providing strategic communications, planning and media services for an Israeli government initiative in the US focused on combating antisemitism.
Stokes registered under the same Havas contract in October 2025 and has reportedly written multiple press releases for Rogers’ campaign.
Drop Site News reported that Ronson is one of 14 Convergence Media employees subcontracted to work on a $46.5 million Israeli government communications initiative that includes social media outreach and artificial intelligence-driven campaigns.
Records from the Federal Election Commission show that Rogers’ campaign has paid Convergence Media millions of dollars during the current election cycle.
The campaign has previously disputed that Ronson was a member of its staff, despite reports that she has contacted journalists through an official campaign email address.
Ronson and Stokes did not immediately respond to requests for comment from Drop Site News.
Another Rogers campaign spokesperson also did not respond to questions about whether the campaign knew of the two individuals’ work for the Israeli government.
