Two Pakistanis make Forbes ‘30 Under 30’ US list
Two Pakistanis — entrepreneur Salman Habib and investor Hassan Chaudhry — have been named to the Forbes 30 Under 30 United States 2026 list
ISLAMABAD, Pakistan (MNTV) — Two Pakistanis — entrepreneur Salman Habib and investor Hassan Chaudhry — have been named to the Forbes 30 Under 30 United States 2026 list, which features 600 of America’s most promising young innovators.
Habib was selected in the Transportation & Aerospace category. He is the co-founder and CEO of Burq, a platform enabling businesses to offer delivery services without building their own logistics systems.
Founded in 2021 by Salman and his brother Shaban, Burq has built a nationwide delivery network of more than 500 providers — including Uber and DoorDash — covering 4,000 U.S. cities, Forbes reported.
The company has raised over $10 million and serves major grocery chains such as Albertsons, Safeway and Kroger. Habib described the recognition as “pretty surreal,” saying on X that he was excited for what comes next.
Chaudhry, listed in the Venture Capital category, is a vice president at BlackRock Private Equity Partners, where he leads growth-stage investments from Series C to pre-IPO.
Born in Pakistan, he rejoined BlackRock in 2023 to help build its Growth Equity platform and has since invested more than $800 million.
His portfolio includes three exits and major investments in companies such as Groq — where he served as Series D lead and board observer — and Applied Intuition, where he co-led the Series F round with Kleiner Perkins. He has also served on the LP advisory committee of Glasswing Ventures II, a Boston-based, woman-led AI seed fund.
Forbes said competition for the annual list now exceeds 10,000 applications each year.
The magazine noted that the 2026 honorees are driving an AI-powered wave of innovation, with breakthroughs in robotics, advanced software and next-generation coding tools.
