KARACHI, Pakistan (MNTV) – Pakistani mountaineer Asad Ali Memon has achieved a historic milestone by completing the Seven Summits challenge, conquering the tallest mountains on each of the world’s seven continents.
Memon reached this rare global feat after scaling Carstensz Pyramid (Puncak Jaya), the highest peak in Oceania, marking the final summit in his seven-year journey of perseverance and endurance.
“This mission that began seven years ago has finally been completed,” Memon said in a video message from the summit. “I have raised my flag and proudly say, Pakistan Zindabad — long live Pakistan!”
His accomplishment stands as a defining moment in Pakistan’s mountaineering history, symbolizing the nation’s resilience and ambition on the world stage. From Everest in Asia to Vinson in Antarctica, Memon has carried the Pakistani flag across every continent, inspiring climbers back home.
Expressing gratitude to his supporters, Memon urged continued encouragement for upcoming mountaineers: “I’ve fulfilled my dream. Please keep supporting future Pakistani climbers as you supported me.”
The Seven Summits include: Mount Everest (Asia), Aconcagua (South America), Denali (North America), Kilimanjaro (Africa), Elbrus (Europe), Vinson (Antarctica), and Carstensz Pyramid (Oceania).
With this achievement, Asad Ali Memon joins an elite group of climbers worldwide who have completed the challenge—cementing his place among Pakistan’s most accomplished adventurers.
