Israeli settlers injure Palestinians and attack ambulance in West Bank
Palestinian reports describe assaults on West Bank residents, attacks on homes and electricity cuts, deepening fears over settler violence
RAMALLAH, Palestine (MNTV) — Israeli settlers injured two Palestinians and attacked an ambulance responding to the victims near Ramallah, while separate incidents targeted Palestinian homes and property elsewhere in the occupied West Bank, according to Palestinian media reports.
Palestinian news agency WAFA reported that settlers accompanied by Israeli forces attacked the Arab al-Kaabneh Bedouin community near Taybeh, east of Ramallah.
The attackers beat two Palestinians, leaving them with injuries and bruises, and assaulted an ambulance belonging to Silwad municipality as it approached the area.
The reported attack on the ambulance raises further concerns about the safety of emergency responders attempting to reach Palestinians injured during settler violence. Such incidents can obstruct medical assistance and intensify the risks faced by already vulnerable communities under occupation.
Separately, Palestinian television reported that Israeli forces, accompanied by a settler, raided several homes in Deir Jarir, east of Ramallah.
In Beita, south of Nablus, settlers reportedly attacked the home of Palestinian resident Muti Salim al-Aqtash and cut its electricity supply. Israeli forces detained the homeowner, according to WAFA.
The report also described an earlier incident in which electricity was cut to another Palestinian home in the same town.
The incidents form part of a wider pattern of violence, property interference and intimidation reported by Palestinians across the occupied West Bank.
Settler attacks, combined with the presence or involvement of Israeli forces, have heightened concerns over civilian protection and accountability.
The latest reports underscore the vulnerability of Palestinian families and the risks facing medical personnel working in areas affected by occupation-related violence.
