Israeli forces expand Gaza attacks amid civilian deaths
Palestinians report further death and displacement as Israeli military strikes deepen humanitarian crisis across the enclave
GAZA CITY, Palestine (MNTV) – Israeli forces have expanded their attacks in parts of Gaza as fresh strikes killed Palestinians and forced more families to leave their homes, according to local officials and residents.
Medical sources said an Israeli attack near a residential area in the Nuseirat refugee camp in central Gaza killed two brothers, Ahmed and Mahmoud Abu Heen.
The latest deaths added to the growing number of Palestinians reported killed since a US-brokered ceasefire attempt in October 2025 failed to stop ongoing genocide in Gaza.
Palestinian health authorities said Israeli attacks have continued despite diplomatic efforts to advance a new phase of negotiations involving regional mediators and international representatives.
Residents said Israeli forces have continued expanding areas under their attacks and control, including parts of eastern Khan Younis, northern Rafah and areas around Gaza City.
Witnesses reported that Israeli troops moved further into the Al-Tuffah neighborhood, forcing families to abandon their homes as military positions and boundary markers were extended.
Many displaced Palestinians said they had nowhere safe to go after repeated evacuations throughout the conflict, with large numbers of residents now concentrated in limited coastal areas under severe humanitarian conditions.
Families described continued fear, destruction and exhaustion after months of displacement, with many forced to move repeatedly while struggling to find shelter and basic necessities.
The Gaza Strip has suffered widespread destruction since the outbreak of the Israeli genocide of Palestinians, leaving much of the territory damaged and millions affected.
International efforts continue to seek a political solution, but civilians remain caught between ongoing military operations and stalled negotiations.
