Israeli army kills 2 Palestinians in occupied West Bank shooting
Attacks have intensified during olive harvest season that began earlier this month
JERUSALEM (MNTV) – Israeli army killed two Palestinians in the West Bank on Friday morning, Haaretz reported.
The Palestinians were killed in a shootout with Israeli forces following allegations that they had opened fire at Israeli occupiers in the West Bank city of Hebron, wounding five people.
Israel’s emergency medical service Magen David Adom stated that among those wounded, two are in critical condition.
Video footage circulated on social media captured the moments when Israeli soldiers shot at the Palestinians.
The Israeli army has cordoned off Palestinian villages near Hebron, Haaretz reported.
The report comes as attacks by Israeli occupiers and the army against Palestinians and their land in the occupied West Bank have intensified during the olive harvest season that began earlier this month.
Palestinian figures indicate that around 750,000 Israeli occupiers live in the West Bank, including occupied East Jerusalem, across 194 settlements and approximately 400 outposts.
Israeli settlements built on occupied Palestinian land are considered illegal under international law.
