The Story Behind "One Day" Film

This Mother’s Day weekend, Yazmeen Kanji is bringing her film One Day to Toronto for a special private screening hosted by One Love Family Services. We spoke with Yazmeen about the inspiration behind the film, Muslim representation in storytelling, and why it was important for her to show that Islam is not a monolith, every experience and journey matters.
