RABAT, Morocco (MNTV) — Google has announced that its artificial intelligence platform Google Gemini will become the official technology sponsor of the national football teams of Iraq and Morocco, in a partnership aimed at expanding digital engagement between football fans and the two federations.
The agreement will focus on using artificial intelligence tools to create interactive fan experiences and digital content linked to both national teams, according to a statement released by Google’s Middle East and North Africa division.

Under the initiative, supporters will be able to use Gemini’s AI-powered tools to generate football-themed visuals, compose team songs and access simplified explanations of football rules and match analysis.
The company said fans will also be able to use Gemini’s generative AI systems to create personalized cheering content and interactive media connected to their favorite teams and players.
Among the features highlighted by Google were Gemini’s image-generation technology and AI music composition system, which the company said would allow users to produce customized digital content linked to football events and competitions.
Google added that new fan-focused campaigns and digital activations will be introduced over the coming months in coordination with the Iraqi and Moroccan football federations.
The company said the sponsorship reflects its growing focus on sports technology and digital audience engagement across the Arab world.
