Yemen claims to uncover US-Israeli-Saudi spy network
Espionage cell aimed to sabotage Yemen’s military support for Gaza, revealing deep Saudi, American, and Israeli operational coordination
SANA’A, Yemen (MNTV) — Yemeni security forces have dismantled a high-level espionage network involving officers from the CIA, Mossad, and Saudi intelligence, operating from a joint command center in Riyadh, according to ABNA News.
The cell aimed to obstruct Yemen’s military efforts supporting Gaza and gather sensitive information on missile units, drone forces, senior commanders, and strategic infrastructure.
The operation, codenamed “And the Scheming of Those People Will Perish,” is being hailed as a landmark intelligence achievement.
Yemeni authorities said the cell provided precise coordinates that facilitated U.S. and Israeli airstrikes on military and civilian targets.
Confessions indicate several attacks in recent months were directly guided by Saudi intelligence, highlighting Riyadh’s active operational role alongside the U.S. and Israel.
Investigators revealed the network used sophisticated methods, including vehicles equipped with high-resolution cameras, tracking devices, and remotely managed micro-servers to transmit intelligence.
Operatives were trained in Riyadh and Aden on device operation, surveillance, camouflage, and covert communications. Humanitarian and development projects were reportedly used as a cover to recruit field operatives and exfiltrate sensitive information.
Yemen’s Ministry of Interior emphasized the strategic significance of the operation, noting it exposes the depth of Saudi involvement in advancing Israeli objectives in the region and demonstrates the Kingdom’s role as a central hub for intelligence operations against Yemen.
The revelations come nearly two years after Operation Al-Aqsa Flood, a period that reshaped the regional balance of power and tested Riyadh’s alliances.
The confessions highlighted the systematic targeting of Yemen’s military capabilities, including missile units, drone forces, and senior commanders, while mapping critical infrastructure for potential airstrikes.
The network maintained secure communications with U.S., Israeli, and Saudi officers through encrypted messaging platforms, with intelligence reports periodically transmitted from field operatives to the Riyadh command center.
Officials noted Yemen had previously extended peace overtures to Riyadh, proposing a strategic realignment and military support for Palestinian resistance.
Instead, Saudi Arabia intensified coordination with Israel, providing airspace access, financing arms deals, and attempting to establish a land corridor to occupied Palestine, while pressuring Arab states to avoid opposition to Israel.
The Ministry underscored that Yemen’s security front remains highly vigilant and resilient, sending a clear message to domestic and international actors that attempts to destabilize or infiltrate the country will fail.
Analysts say this achievement positions Sana’a as a center of comprehensive resistance, capable of confronting both overt military aggression and covert intelligence operations.
