4 Palestinians killed, 6 injured in Israeli strikes in Gaza despite ceasefire
9-year-old among victims as Israel continues to violate truce in place since last October
GAZA CITY, Palestine (MNTV) – At least four Palestinians, including a child, were killed and six others injured in Israeli attacks across Gaza on Tuesday, despite an ongoing ceasefire, medical sources said.
Three people were killed and four injured when an Israeli drone struck a civilian car near Haidar roundabout in western Gaza City, according to witnesses.
In southern Gaza, a 9-year-old boy, Adel Lafi al-Najjar, was killed and a man injured in a separate drone strike near Abu Hamid roundabout in central Khan Younis.
In the north, a 49-year-old woman was seriously wounded after Israeli forces opened fire near the al-Twam area, outside their deployment zone.
Witnesses also reported heavy Israeli shelling and gunfire in eastern Jabalia refugee camp.
Since the ceasefire began, Israeli attacks have killed at least 818 Palestinians and injured more than 2,300, Gaza’s Health Ministry said.
The truce followed a war that began on Oct. 8, 2023, which has killed over 72,600 Palestinians, wounded more than 172,400, and devastated most of Gaza’s infrastructure.
