Starvation kills 14 more Palestinians in Gaza, including 2 children, amid Israeli siege
Death toll from hunger rises to 147 as blockade-driven famine deepens; ICJ warrants remain in effect against Israeli leaders
GAZA CITY, Palestine (MNTV) — At least 14 Palestinians, including two children, have died of starvation in Gaza over the past 24 hours as Israel’s ongoing siege continues to push the enclave toward a full-scale famine, Gaza’s Health Ministry said.
The ministry confirmed that hospitals recorded the new fatalities, bringing the total number of deaths from hunger and malnutrition since October 2023 to 147, including 88 children.
Israel has maintained an 18-year blockade on Gaza and, since March 2, has completely sealed all border crossings, cutting off food, medicine, and fuel supplies.
Despite mounting international demands for a ceasefire, Israeli forces have continued their large-scale military assault, killing nearly 60,000 Palestinians—most of them women and children—while destroying neighborhoods, hospitals, and essential infrastructure.
The International Court of Justice (ICJ) has issued arrest warrants for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and former Defense Minister Yoav Gallant, accusing them of war crimes and crimes against humanity in Gaza.
