Pakistan passport climbs three spots in Henley Index
Pakistan rose to 100th place in global ranking for 2026, while Singapore retained world's top-ranked passport
ISLAMABAD, Pakistan (MNTV) — Pakistan’s passport climbed three places to rank 100th in the Henley Passport Index 2026, giving its holders visa-free or visa-on-arrival access to 30 destinations, Aaj News reported.
The latest index placed Pakistan at 100th, up from 103rd a year earlier, marking an improvement in its global ranking.
According to the report, Pakistani passport holders can travel to 30 countries without obtaining a visa in advance or receive a visa on arrival.
Singapore retained the world’s most powerful passport, with its citizens enjoying visa-free or visa-on-arrival access to 192 destinations.
Japan, South Korea and the United Arab Emirates shared second place in the rankings, while Sweden ranked third.
The United States placed 10th, with access to 180 destinations without requiring a visa in advance.
Afghanistan remained at the bottom of the index as the world’s weakest passport. Syria ranked 102nd, Iraq 101st and Yemen 99th.
