24th Moscow International Quran Recitation Competition will be held in Moscow on Oct. 29-30
MOSCOW (MNTV) — The 24th Moscow International Quran Recitation Competition will be held in Moscow on Oct. 29-30, IslamNews reported.
The competition is being organized by the Spiritual Administration of Muslims of the Russian Federation in partnership with Mohammed bin Zayed University for the Humanities in the United Arab Emirates.
The qualifying round will take place Oct. 29 at the Moscow Cathedral Mosque and will determine which reciters advance to the final round. Recitation will begin at 10 a.m., with free admission.
The closing ceremony will be held Oct. 30 at the Cosmos Concert Hall, where the finalists will gather before the awards ceremony.
The program will also include a spiritual and educational theatrical performance. Guests will be able to visit a thematic exhibition in the foyer before the event.
Reciters from various countries will travel to Moscow to demonstrate their knowledge of the Quran, the beauty of its recitation and their recitation skills.
We must take charge of our narrative. Research indicates that 92% of their Muslim coverage is negative. Help us change that.
