It’s About Time Carney & Co. Confront a Simple Truth: Hatred for Palestine and Palestinians is Raw, Unadulterated Islamophobia. Case Closed.
Are you familiar with this case? If not, you’re not alone. We can attribute that to the efficiency of the Canadian mainstream media, which often focuses on terms like “radical Islam” and “Sharia,” while willfully ignoring incidents that promote hate against Muslims. A prime example is the troubling case of Dr. Jonathan Mayer. Who is he, and what has he become notorious for? Read on.
The origins of this case date back to 2024; however, it gained significant attention in November-December 2025, when undeniable evidence of open hatred for Palestine and, by extension, for all Muslims, was discovered on social media, posted by none other than the Vice President of the Ontario Dental Association (ODA), Dr. Jonathan Mayer.
The Ontario Dental Association is a professional association that represents over 11,000 practicing dentists in Ontario. While membership in the ODA is voluntary, it is crucial to note that over 90% of dentists in Ontario pay membership fees to access specialized insurance programs, services, and exclusive products that support their practice. The ODA is essential to the dental profession in Ontario for several reasons, including that dentists must use specific software to submit claims to insurance companies, which is only available through the ODA.
The Ontario Dental Association also acts as a liaison between the government and its members on policies that impact dentists and their practices across the province. The Board of Directors typically advocates on behalf of ODA members.Ā

Dr. Jonathan Mayer, the focus of this discussion, is a member of the Board and the ODA’s Vice President. He is not a minor figure who can be easily dismissed; he is a senior medical professional who knowingly chose to use his platform to spread raw, unadulterated hate against Muslims and Palestinians. What makes this situation even more alarming is that he is in a position to influence the professional standards and ethical practices of 11,000 medical professionals who look to him for guidance.Ā
What are the allegations against Mayer? In simple terms, he has posted deeply toxic content expressing hatred for Palestinians, and, by extension, Muslims, on his social media accounts. The content of those posts is self-explanatory, as the images below demonstrate. However, what is more troubling than Mayer’s social media activity is the reaction from his superiors and some members of the ODA board, who seem to find nothing wrong with his actions.Ā
This closing ranks and shielding the guilty by whatever means possible, is so very typical of the Zionist friendly climate countries in the West have built for an inherently evil and genocidal cult that disguises itself as a religious community.Ā
But let’s focus on the president of the ODA, Dr. David A. Brown, and his response to the demands from shocked Ontarians and some of his board members to immediately dismiss Mayer.Ā
After investigating Mayer’s social media activity and confirming the allegations, Dr. Brown’s letter addressing the public’s concerns was a masterclass in empty rhetoric.Ā
Here’s a portion of his ‘apology‘ letter to those demanding Mayer’s removal:
“The ODA Board of Directors has completed its review of an independent task force report on Dr. Jonathan Mayer’s social media posts. Dr. Mayer has accepted the report’s findings and has committed to fulfilling all its recommendations. Therefore, the Board has decided to provide Dr. Mayer the opportunity to comply and has ratified him as president-elect for 2026-27.“
Incredible! What we are witnessing is a system that actually rewards Islamophobia and hatred toward Palestine and Palestinians.Ā
