Is Antisemitism, The Most Potent Weapon Ever Wielded by Zionists, Losing Its Power?  

This requires a special kind of courage. And Mayor Chow appears to have no lack of it. Case in point: her address at a public event in November of 2025, when she stood on the dais and spoke the few words that every sane, right-thinking individual, from Toronto to Tangiers, of any faith or ethnicity, was hoping Western politicians would have the guts to speak out loud – “yes, this is a Genocide!“

The very next morning, and as expected, the Hasbara dam broke. Every single media house with links to the genocidal lobby was ‘shocked’ by her statement. This had never happened before. For close to 80 years, state heads, western politicians, media moguls, and industry leaders were given only two options when it came to dealing with issues concerning Israel – either defend every loathsome act they were committing in Palestine or be quiet. Sure, there was a third option as well, of being doxed, attacked, or even assassinated, but most people took the first one because of the windfall that came with it.

But on November 02, 2025, Mayor Chow begged to differ and, in doing so, blew that fear out of the water. Equally commendable, in the weeks after her address, was that she stood her ground as pressure from the Israeli lobby mounted. What else can I call it if not a genocide? was her snappy rejoinder when she was asked why she said what she said.

For doubters, who assumed this was a flash in the pan, that she wasn’t as principled and upstanding as she was made out to be, the next shoe dropped today when news broke that Mayor Olivia Chow won’t attend an upcoming debate on antisemitism. 

For observers familiar with the Israel lobby (globally) and its style of operation, the debate and the date chosen for it are extremely telling. Just before the mayoral elections roll in and the candidates’ futures are decided. An invitation to a sitting mayor and her opponents to discuss antisemitism is one last chance for them to “kiss the ring” and swear allegiance. Whoever does it better, and with more conviction, wins the day, and the support of a shadowy cabal who, if legend is to be believed, can turn elections at will.

When pressed for an answer on why Mayor Chow is not attending, her official spokesperson explained that the said debate is taking place one day before Chow officially launches her campaign on September 09, and she does not want to attend any public events before that. And that could well be true. But what is refreshing is to see a politician who doesn’t ask, ‘how high’ when the Zionist lobby says jump, and who’s not scared of refusing to “obey orders”.

Kudos to her! But let’s get back to the newsbreak.

Jewish Lawyers of Canada, the organizers of the debate, told a local media hub that they had been communicating with Chow’s campaign since August 07 and that her team never raised her launch date as a problem. They declined to comment on her decision, but said talks were ongoing with the other candidates about the event’s format.

Meanwhile, Mayor Chow’s spokesperson did her best to soften the blow by stating that “She will not be participating in any debates before that date (September 09),” adding that “throughout her campaign, once it launches, she will engage with the Jewish community on the critical issue of antisemitism.”  

Brad Bradford, Mayor Chow’s closest rival for the mayor’s office, couldn’t believe the windfall as his team grabbed the opportunity with both hands, exclaiming it’s “really unfortunate” that Chow won’t attend.

“Torontonians deserve to hear both candidates make their case, side by side, about the change this city needs,” Brad’s spokesperson said, adding their candidate has agreed to a fireside-style conversation if Chow stays on the sidelines.

Mayor Chow has come under severe criticism from the pro-Israel groups, including Bradford, who have accused her of not adequately addressing antisemitism in the wake of Israel’s genocidal campaign against Palestinians.
