Iran strikes US military bases after 7th night of American bombardment
Tehran warns wider military response if Washington continues attacks as US strikes kill civilians, damage infrastructure and deepen regional instability
TEHRAN, Iran (MNTV) — Iran launched coordinated strikes against US military installations across the Middle East after enduring a seventh consecutive night of American attacks, warning that it would abandon restrained retaliation and escalate to full-scale military operations if Washington’s assault continues.
The latest exchange marked another dangerous escalation in the conflict that erupted after the United States and Israel launched military attacks on Iran earlier this year.
Iranian officials accused Washington of intensifying what they described as an illegal campaign targeting civilian infrastructure, including airports, bridges, railway facilities and energy installations.
Iran’s Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) said its forces struck American military assets in Kuwait, Bahrain, Jordan, Qatar and other locations hosting US forces.
Iranian state media reported that military facilities, ammunition depots, radar systems and logistical infrastructure linked to the United States were among the targets.
Senior Iranian military adviser Major General Mohsen Rezaei warned that Tehran would no longer limit itself to proportional retaliation if American attacks continued for another two or three days.
He said Iran would launch full-scale offensive operations and cautioned that no political boundary would shield US interests from future military action.
Iranian authorities said recent US strikes killed civilians and damaged critical public infrastructure in Hormozgan province, including transport and energy facilities.
Officials accused Washington of deliberately attacking civilian targets in violation of international humanitarian law and the United Nations Charter.
The Iranian Health Ministry said at least 38 people have been killed and more than 400 others injured since the United States resumed its bombing campaign.
Authorities also urged citizens to conserve electricity after American attacks reportedly damaged parts of the country’s energy infrastructure.
Iran said it targeted American military facilities in neighboring countries as a direct response to what it described as US aggression against Iranian territory.
Officials maintained that the operations were aimed at military assets supporting Washington’s regional campaign rather than civilian populations.
The widening conflict has also intensified disruption in the Strait of Hormuz, one of the world’s most important energy corridors.
Iran’s Revolutionary Guards said they intercepted several vessels attempting to cross the strategic waterway, while maritime security agencies reported additional attacks on commercial shipping near the Gulf.
Despite mounting international calls for diplomacy, the United States has continued military operations and reinforced restrictions on maritime traffic linked to Iran, raising fears of a broader regional war.
China and Pakistan have renewed appeals for both sides to halt hostilities and return to negotiations before the conflict spirals further out of control.
