Fighter jet crash kills at least 3 in Iran’s Tabriz
ISTANBUL (AA) – At least three people were killed as a military jet crashed in the northwestern Iranian city of Tabriz on Monday, state television reported.
A pilot, his aide and a civilian sitting in a parked vehicle were killed in the crash near a school.
According to Mehr News Agency, the warplane believed to be an F-5 fighter crashed over the Alipur gymnasium in the Monajim Bolivar area.
Authorities have launched an investigation into the incident.
