Six historically Black colleges and universities have received bomb threats for the second time in January.
Howard, Bowie State, Bethune-Cookman, Southern, Delaware State and Albany State universities reported potential threats Monday.
The FBI is investigating the bomb threats with local law enforcement.
Members of the public are urged to report anything suspicious to law enforcement immediately, the FBI told ABC News.
Agents from the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms & Explosives also are responding to the reports.
