The Real ‘Axis of Evil’ We Never Knew.
While the world reels in shock and distress at the raw evil represented by Netanyahu and Trump, few can see anything remotely positive in it. The common response is to question where the good is in such evil. However, it would be a disservice to ourselves if we didn’t recognize the silver linings in recent global events. Particularly as Muslims, who believe that nothing happens without His will and that everything is part of His grand design, it would be nearly blasphemous to dismiss the recent events as merely another evil deed.
For instance, if not for recent events, who would have believed that:
– The West may claim to be civilized and evolved, yet it still operates under the principle that might is right and all land belongs to the powerful.
– The “old occupiers and colonialists“—the UK, France, and the US—never truly abandoned their colonial desires; they’ve just concealed them until now.
– The greatest fear that unites the West, despite its many differences and self-serving agendas, is the prospect of Muslims uniting under a single banner.
– America and the collective West’s worst nightmare is a united ummah under a capable leader who envisions an Islamic revival.
– Those who thought America’s Republicans and Democrats were separate political entities were mistaken; in truth, they represent two faces of a single ideology that venerates Zionism.
– If it weren’t for Netanyahu and Trump, the world would still be under the misconception that a two-state solution in Palestine was possible, and that the UK and America were fair brokers trying to make that a reality. We owe them gratitude for dispelling that illusion once and for all.
– The image of America as the land of the brave and free, dedicated to individual dreams, respect for human life, and traditional values, is a facade. It functions as a corporate entity, driven by the principle that profits justify everything—even the killing of children. It seeks total control of its populace and can quickly turn into a fascist police state if it feels threatened. Remember ICE?
– The carefully crafted perception of a refined American society committed to human values is an illusion, propagated by American and British media and films produced in both countries.
– Governments in power—whether in Israel, the US, or the UK—care little for their own citizens, who are seen merely as pawns in a geopolitical chess game. For those who struggle to believe this, consider the events of October 7, when Israel allegedly caused the deaths of many of its own citizens, blaming Hamas instead. Who do we think they learned these tricks from?
One Incident in a Long Line of Similar Events:
In 1959, a charismatic figure named Fidel Castro overthrew the US-backed Cuban leader Fulgencio Batista, establishing Cuba as the first communist state in the Western Hemisphere. Americans, accustomed to fretting over the distant threat of the U.S.S.R., suddenly faced a communist regime just 90 miles off the coast of Florida, raising fears that the Cold War could turn hot.
How could an upstart overthrow a US-appointed puppet government? Wasn’t that something only America was authorized to do?
The CIA sprang into action, leading to the creation of “Operation Northwoods,” spearheaded by the Joint Chiefs of Staff under Gen. Lyman L. Lemnitzer.
This operation, presented to Defense Secretary Robert McNamara on March 13, 1962, outlined various ways the US could instigate a war with Cuba. One plan suggested manufacturing “well-coordinated incidents… in and around Guantanamo” to create the appearance of an attack on the US base. To lend credibility to the attack, Operation Northwoods proposed using rumors, “friendly” Cubans, starting fires, and conducting mock funerals for “victims.”
Does that resonate? It should, as similar tactics are occurring around us. America’s conspiracies have not changed much over the centuries.
Perhaps the most ambitious plot in Operation Northwoods involved a civilian airliner. This plan proposed orchestrating an “incident that will convincingly demonstrate that a Cuban aircraft has attacked and shot down a chartered civil airliner.” The airline in question could be “chartered” by fake college students or other groups, designed to appear credible.
How serious was this plan? It made its way to President John F. Kennedy’s desk for approval, revealing just how invested America was in destroying Cuba—regardless of the innocent lives that would be lost in the process.
And the never-ending cycle of war, brutality, and deprivation continues. Today it’s Palestine, Iran, and Lebanon. Tomorrow, it’ll be the rest of the region that America would wish to “civilize”.
