M42 launches Saudi Arabia unit to expand healthcare collaboration
New entity to strengthen AI-driven precision healthcare partnership with kingdom under Vision 2030 and expand regional medical initiatives
RIYADH, Saudi Arabia (MNTV) — Global health intelligence firm M42 announced the launch of M42 Saudi Arabia, marking a new phase in its long-term collaboration with the kingdom to advance precision and predictive healthcare under Vision 2030.
The announcement was made during the Global Health Exhibition (GHE) in Riyadh, where the company reaffirmed its commitment to supporting Saudi Arabia’s transition toward a future-ready, technology-driven healthcare system.
M42 has worked with the Saudi Ministry of Health for over 12 years, operating more than 40 Diaverum renal care clinics across 33 cities including Riyadh, Jeddah, Makkah, and Madinah.
The establishment of M42 Saudi Arabia, the firm said, represents the “next stage in a trusted partnership grounded in performance, impact, and shared purpose.”
Under the new entity, M42 will continue its renal care services through Diaverum while expanding into multi-omics research, population health programs, and lifestyle disease management, integrating digital health technologies to enhance national healthcare capacity.
“The incorporation of M42 Saudi Arabia is a natural step in building a globally scaled health intelligence ecosystem that partners with local institutions to shift from reactive care to precision, prevention, and prediction,” said Dimitris Moulavasilis, Group CEO of M42.
Ziyad Kabli, M42’s COO for the Middle East and Asia, added that the launch marks a transition from specialty renal care to system-wide collaboration in advanced medical services and innovation.
The initiative will enable Saudi-led pilot projects, collaborative research, and partnerships with both government and private institutions—reinforcing the kingdom’s position as a regional leader in health innovation and life sciences.
M42’s expansion comes as part of a wider regional strategy. In Jordan, the company recently launched the Digital Health Centre, the country’s first virtual hospital, in collaboration with the Ministries of Health and Digital Economy.
Meanwhile, in Bahrain, M42 has partnered with Mumtalakat through Amana Healthcare – Bahrain to deliver long-term and post-acute rehabilitation services in Al Jasra.
