Kuwait Airways launches special fare discounts for retirees and companions
National carrier offers 20% reduction for retired passengers and 15% for accompanying travelers across all routes
KUWAIT CITY (MNTV) — Kuwait Airways has announced a new initiative granting exclusive fare reductions to retired citizens and their companions, reinforcing its role as the country’s national carrier and community partner.
Under the offer, retirees will receive a 20 percent discount on tickets, while one accompanying traveler will benefit from a 15 percent reduction. The discounts apply across all travel classes and on every destination served by Kuwait Airways.
The booking window is open from September 9 to November 30, 2025, with eligible travel dates set between September 15, 2025, and May 15, 2026. Reservations can be made through the airline’s sales offices, with retirees required to present a valid retiree ID to complete booking procedures.
Kuwait Airways Chairman Abdulmohsen Al-Fagaan said the initiative was designed as a gesture of loyalty and appreciation for retirees’ contributions over their careers.
He emphasized that the offer highlights the airline’s dedication to social responsibility and its commitment to maintaining strong ties with all sectors of Kuwaiti society.
“This step reflects Kuwait Airways’ belief in remaining closely connected to the community and fulfilling its duty toward citizens who have played a vital role in building our nation,” Al-Fagaan stated. He added that the carrier will continue to develop meaningful programs that support and serve Kuwait’s social fabric.
The chairman also underscored the company’s broader strategy of introducing community-focused initiatives, aimed at strengthening Kuwait Airways’ identity as both a leading airline and a trusted national institution.
He affirmed the airline’s determination to deliver flexible travel experiences, exceptional service, and initiatives that enhance its long-standing relationship with customers.
Al-Fagaan concluded by stressing that Kuwait Airways remains committed to its vision of leadership and excellence while working to ensure that it remains the preferred choice for travelers within and beyond Kuwait.
