Indonesia President offers Eid prayer at Istiqlal Mosque
JAKARTA, Indonesia (MNTV) – – Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto participated in the Eid al-Adha prayer at Jakarta’s Istiqlal Mosque on Friday, reports Tempo.
The President arrived at approximately 06:45 AM local time, dressed in a white shirt, fabric trousers, and a black cap.
Entering through the VVIP (very very important person) gate, which had been secured by presidential security personnel since dawn, Prabowo took his place in the front row to perform the Eid prayer.
He was greeted by Coordinating Minister for Human Development and Culture, Pratikno. Also in attendance nearby was Puan Maharani, Chairperson of the People’s Consultative Assembly (DPR).
A number of ministers from the Red and White Cabinet were observed by Tempo, including Minister of Home Affairs Tito Karnavian, Minister of Culture Fadli Zon, Minister of Law Supratman Andi Agtas, Coordinating Minister for Maritime Affairs and Investment Rosan Roeslani, and Coordinating Minister for Infrastructure and Regional Development Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono.
