Young Bangladeshi artists shine at Malaysia exhibition
Promote cross-cultural dialogue through thought-provoking creations
DHAKA, Bangladesh (MNTV) – Artworks by 25 young Bangladeshi artists caught the attention of visitors at the prestigious Malaysia International Art Exhibition, reports Bangladesh Post.
The exhibition, titled ‘World Peace and Friendship: Celebrating Unity Through Art’, was jointly organized by The Pink Jambu 2.0 and the National Sculpture Gallery (NSG), an international artists’ group from Bangladesh.
Supported by Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM), the event took place at the Creative Media & Technology Hub (CMTHub) in Malaysia.
Bangladesh High Commissioner to Malaysia Md Shameem Ahsan formally inaugurated the exhibition on Friday.
In his speech, the High Commissioner praised the initiative, saying, “This event is not just an art exhibition; it is a meaningful celebration of creativity, cross-cultural dialogue, and international friendship.”
The program was curated by Imran Hossen, a young Bangladeshi artist and curator currently pursuing his PhD at MMU University, Malaysia.
“An international art showcase is a great opportunity for artists, and I am trying to highlight Bangladeshi art and culture through artwork across the world,” Imran said.
The exhibition features a collection of paintings, sculptures, and installations reflecting messages of peace, harmony, and friendship, earning wide appreciation for promoting global unity through art.
The exhibition also featured creations from artists of Malaysia, India, Indonesia, Poland, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Turkey, Canada, and Australia.
