War crimes complaint filed against 10 Britons over Gaza
A war crimes complaint against 10 British nationals who served in the Israeli military in Gaza has been submitted to London’s Metropolitan Police.
They face serious charges including murder, extermination, attacking civilians, and the forcible transfer of a population.
A team of legal experts, led by top human rights lawyer Michael Mansfield, has handed over a 240-page report.
Mansfield said international crimes have unfolded in Gaza over the last 18 months, while world leaders have done little to stop the suffering of innocent Palestinians.
The complaint was filed by the Palestinian Centre for Human Rights and the Public Interest Law Centre.
The identities of the accused have not been revealed for legal reasons.
Among them are Israeli dual nationals.
The police’s war crimes team now will examine the report for further action.
