US forces sink Iran’s fleet, destroy most missile sites, Trump says
Trump claimed Sunday that American forces have destroyed Iran's entire naval fleet and taken out majority of its missile infrastructure
WASHINGTON (MNTV) — U.S. President Donald Trump claimed Sunday that American forces have destroyed Iran’s entire naval fleet and taken out the vast majority of its missile infrastructure.
Speaking to Fox News, Trump said the military campaign had dealt a decisive blow to Iran’s armed forces.
He stated that roughly four-fifths of Tehran’s missile launch platforms had been eliminated, with only a fraction still intact.
“We dealt Iran an extremely severe blow, something no other country has done,” Trump said, adding that Iran had been moving to assert dominance over the broader Middle East before the U.S. intervention.
The remarks came amid an ongoing and intensifying exchange of strikes between American and Iranian forces across the region.
U.S. operations have centered on dismantling Iran’s missile infrastructure and naval capabilities, which the Trump administration has identified as the backbone of Tehran’s regional military reach.
