Trump warns Iran after Israeli strikes
U.S. President issues ominous message following Israeli airstrikes that decimated Iran’s military elite and nuclear infrastructure
TEHRAN, Iran (MNTV) – President Donald Trump has said that things will get more difficult for Iran unless it agrees to make a deal.
Following Israel’s airstrikes that reportedly killed multiple senior Iranian military leaders and nuclear scientists, Trump accused Iranian leaders of squandering repeated opportunities for diplomacy during his first term. “No matter how hard they tried, no matter how close they got, they just couldn’t get it done,” he said on his Truth Social platform Friday morning.
Trump declared that “they are all DEAD now,” referring to top Iranian officials, and warned that “it will only get worse” unless Iran agrees to make a deal.
The strikes, carried out under the codename Operation Rising Lion, targeted high-level figures within Iran’s military and nuclear establishment, including Hossein Salami, the commander-in-chief of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), and nuclear experts Mohammad Mehdi Tehranchi and Fereydoun Abbasi. Israeli military sources also claimed responsibility for the assassinations of Mohammad Bagheri, Iran’s armed forces chief of staff, and Gholam Ali Rashid, a top strategist and commander of the Khatam al-Anbiya Central Headquarters.
Airstrikes were reported in multiple regions including Tehran, Natanz, Isfahan, Tabriz, and Arak. Explosions rocked the Iranian capital, where several military compounds and residential areas believed to house senior officials were hit. According to eyewitnesses and Iranian media, civilian casualties, including children, were reported. Iran’s Press TV confirmed that the Natanz nuclear facility, a vital part of Iran’s enrichment program, was among the sites damaged.
He emphasized the unmatched strength of U.S. and Israeli military technology, describing it as “the most lethal… in the world, BY FAR,” and insisted that Iran must now act to prevent total devastation. “No more death, no more destruction, JUST DO IT, BEFORE IT IS TOO LATE,” Trump wrote.
New concerns have emerged about the environmental and safety implications of the strikes. According to a report by Arab News, Iran’s Atomic Energy Organization has confirmed that the Israeli attack on the Natanz nuclear site has resulted in radiation contamination inside the facility. While the extent of the contamination remains unclear, the statement has raised alarm within the international nuclear watchdog community.
