Tajikistan to host Dushanbe Invest-2025 to promote green investment

DUSHANBE, Tajikistan (MNTV) — Tajikistan will host the International Investment Forum, Dushanbe Invest-2025, from October 14 to 16 in the capital, as part of its broader push to attract green investment and strengthen economic partnerships with the global community.

According to a report by Asia Plus, the announcement came during the first meeting of the organizing committee, chaired by First Deputy Prime Minister Hokim Kholiqzoda.

The meeting brought together senior officials, including heads of key ministries and agencies, to begin preparations for the high-profile event.

Kholiqzoda stressed that organizing such a major international forum would significantly enhance Tajikistan’s appeal as a destination for foreign direct investment, promote its untapped economic potential, and reinforce the country’s standing in global investor circles. He called on the committee to ensure the event meets the highest standards both in content and organization.

Sulton Rahimzoda, chairman of the State Committee for Investment and State-owned Property Management (GosKomInvest) and deputy head of the organizing committee, briefed participants on preparations.

He outlined key elements of the upcoming forum, including the program agenda, financial planning, logistics, exhibition setup, and parallel events to support networking and collaboration.

The central theme of Dushanbe Invest-2025 will be green investment. Organizers aim to position Tajikistan as an emerging hub for sustainable development by highlighting opportunities in renewable energy, eco-friendly infrastructure, and environmentally responsible industries.

The event is expected to draw participants from leading international investment companies, financial institutions, regional governments, and commercial enterprises. Attendees will take part in business meetings, panel discussions, project presentations, and an exhibition focused on green technology and sustainable growth.
