Saudi marks Eid al‑Adha as Vision 2030’s Media Oasis spotlights social progress
“Families celebrated traditions while government prepped for Expo 2030 and tourism surge,” say officials
RIYADH, Saudi Arabia (MNTV) — Saudis Arabia arranged the ninth edition of the Media Oasis showcase—a vibrant platform highlighting Vision 2030’s Quality of Life commitments amid growing public engagement in cultural events.
The Ministry of Media, in collaboration with the Quality of Life Program, transformed a 2,000-sqm pavilion at Riyadh’s Green Halls into an immersive exhibition space, reported KSA.com.
The venue showcased major Vision 2030 projects—such as NEOM, New Murabba, Qiddiya, and the 2034 FIFA World Cup bid—while also spotlighting Saudi Arabia’s 90 years of diplomatic ties with the United States.
Held alongside a high-profile state visit, the event aimed to amplify Saudi Arabia’s cultural diplomacy and infrastructure achievements, reported Humans Online.
Event planners linked the Media Oasis with Eid travel, underscoring synergies between religious, social, and tourism sectors.
The pavilion featured live broadcast studios and interactive exhibits that brought Vision 2030’s mega-projects—like the Murabba ‘Mukaab’ downtown and Qiddiya’s entertainment city—to life for holiday visitors and global media alike.
Officials from the Ministry of Tourism reported surging domestic bookings to desert retreats, Red Sea resorts, and the Asir highlands, with many families combining Eid visits with early Expo 2030 promotions.
The Vision portal noted that public participation in cultural and recreational programs has risen 25 percent since last year.
As Riyadh gears up to host Expo 2030 and the AFC 2027 and FIFA 2034 tournaments, the successful convergence of Eid festivities and Media Oasis underscores Saudi Arabia’s expanding role as a cultural and economic hub.
The synchronized planning between holiday travel, media storytelling, and tourism acceleration reflects a model of integrated national development aligned with global expectations.
