Saudi Arabia to host global health exhibition in October
Event to gather 2,000 exhibitors, 500 speakers, and 20 international pavilions under Vision 2030
RIYADH, Saudi Arabia (MNTV) — The Saudi capital will host the eighth Global Health Exhibition from October 27 to 30 at the Riyadh Exhibition and Convention Center, bringing together thousands of experts and innovators under the theme “Invest in Health.”
Organized with sponsorship from the Ministry of Health and support from the Health Sector Transformation Program, part of Vision 2030, the event will feature more than 2,000 exhibitors, 500 speakers, and at least 20 international pavilions.
According to Arab News, it aims to serve as a leading platform for knowledge exchange and the showcasing of cutting-edge health and digital solutions.
This year’s edition builds on the success of 2024, which highlighted landmark achievements such as King Faisal Specialist Hospital’s robotic heart transplant.
Other pioneering projects from last year included Chimeric Antigen Receptor T-cell therapy for cancer treatment, a virtual reality command center for medical training, and pharmacogenetic services enabling more precise medication.
Saudi Arabia’s medical progress has continued into 2025. The King Abdullah Ear Specialist Center at King Saud University recently carried out the Middle East’s first cochlear implant surgery using a robotic hand, underscoring the Kingdom’s growing role in advanced medical innovation.
Beyond showcasing technology, the exhibition is designed to provide healthcare professionals, students, and researchers with opportunities to connect, attend scientific sessions, and explore career pathways in the sector.
Officials emphasized that the event reflects the Kingdom’s commitment to strengthening its health ecosystem as part of Vision 2030’s wider transformation goals.
