Saudi Arabia launches $1B Trump Plaza project in Jeddah
Luxury mixed-use development expands Trump-branded real estate footprint in the Kingdom
RIYADH, Saudi Arabia (MNTV) — A one-billion-dollar Trump-branded mixed-use development has been launched in the Saudi city of Jeddah, marking a new expansion in the Kingdom’s high-end real estate sector, developers said.
The project, named Trump Plaza Jeddah, is being developed by Dar Global, a London-listed luxury real estate firm majority-owned by Saudi developer Dar Al-Arkan. It represents the company’s third partnership with the Trump Organization in Saudi Arabia.
According to Dar Global, the development will feature executive and premium residential units, home-office spaces, retail outlets and curated dining destinations, positioning it as an integrated urban lifestyle hub.
The launch follows the unveiling of Trump Tower Jeddah in December 2024, as Saudi Arabia intensifies efforts to attract foreign investors and private capital into its property market.
Eric Trump, executive vice president of the Trump Organization, said the project reflects confidence in Jeddah’s growing global relevance and reinforces the group’s commitment to high-end design and quality.
He described Trump Plaza Jeddah as a new benchmark for integrated urban developments in the Kingdom.
A central feature of the project will be a 4,000-square-meter members-only Vitality Club, offering golf simulators, spa services, sports medicine, and recovery facilities.
The complex will also include swimming pools, fine dining venues, wellness spaces, a cigar and library lounge, and specialty cafés.
Dar Global CEO Ziad El Chaar said the project is designed as a fully integrated urban ecosystem rather than a single-use development, catering to residents seeking to live, work and socialize within one destination. He added that the development introduces a new model for modern city living in Saudi Arabia.
The project will also host branded retail and dining concepts, including Trump Grill and Trump Daily, alongside fitness and lifestyle outlets, ensuring round-the-clock activity.
Trump Plaza Jeddah is located within the wider Amaya development, which spans one million square metres and benefits from foreign ownership incentives, zero capital gains tax and accelerated infrastructure investment.
Earlier this month, Dar Global also launched a Trump International Golf Club in Riyadh’s Wadi Safar, the first of two Trump-branded projects planned for the Saudi capital.
