Nationwide “Silent Strike” In Burma
Protesters in Burma closed businesses and stayed off the streets in a nationwide “silent strike” against military rule Tuesday.
February 1 marked one year since the military coup in the country.
That deposed the Southeast Asian country’s democratically elected government led by Aung Suu Kyi AUNG SAN SUU CHI.
