Iran showcases military advancements at Belarus defense exhibition
Over 50 Iranian defense products on display at MILEX-2025 amid growing regional cooperation in military, business, and diplomacy
MINSK, Belarus (MNTV) — Iran has unveiled more than 50 defense and military innovations at the 12th International Exhibition of Weapons and Military Equipment (MILEX-2025), which opened Wednesday in the Belarusian capital.
The exhibition features over 150 companies from countries including Russia, China, Pakistan, India, and Iran, displaying a wide range of military technologies.
More than 750 types of weapons and equipment are being showcased in conjunction with the 11th International Scientific Conference on Military-Technical Cooperation in the Field of Defense and Security.
According to officials, one of the largest national pavilions at the event belongs to Iran, highlighting the country’s growing role in the international defense industry.
Brigadier General Reza Talaei-Nik, spokesperson for Iran’s Ministry of Defense and Armed Forces Logistics, is leading the Iranian delegation at the exhibition.
He participated in the opening ceremony and held brief talks with Belarusian officials regarding expanded defense cooperation.
During his visit to the Iranian section, Talaei-Nik reaffirmed Tehran’s commitment to strengthening defense ties with Minsk, emphasizing the importance of technological and industrial collaboration between the two nations.
In his opening remarks at the expo, Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko welcomed participants and said the event offers an opportunity for defense experts and manufacturers to share advancements and foster new partnerships.
