Iran opens international distribution industry expo with major private sector participation
Over 120 companies and 30 expert panels highlight logistics, FMCG, and pharmaceutical trends
TEHRAN, Iran (MNTV) — The 7th International Exhibition and Conference on Iran’s Distribution Industry opened at the Iran Mall Exhibition and Convention Center in Tehran, drawing a strong turnout from the country’s private sector and key commercial associations.
Organized to enhance cooperation and innovation across the logistics and supply sectors, the four-day event features participation from more than 120 private companies and over 30 specialized panels.
Sessions will cover fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG), pharmaceuticals, food and hygiene products, and logistics strategies.
Tehran Chamber of Commerce Chairman Mahmoud Najafi Arab inaugurated the exhibition alongside Sohrab Karegar, president of the National Association of Distribution Industry and deputy head of the Chamber’s Transport Commission. Both officials toured the venue, meeting with industry professionals and exhibitors.
The Tehran Chamber of Commerce is hosting a dedicated pavilion at the event, offering advisory support and featuring experts from affiliated private sector organizations.
The exhibition aims to serve as a platform for dialogue on strengthening Iran’s distribution infrastructure, showcasing industry innovations, and identifying solutions to current challenges. The event runs daily from 4:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. and will conclude on Friday, August 8.
