Hamas urges Arab, Islamic states to act after Israel’s Qatar strikes
Movement calls for diplomatic, political, and economic pressure to halt Israeli aggression
DOHA, Qatar (MNTV) — Hamas has appealed to Arab and Islamic foreign ministers to intensify pressure on Israel following its failed attempt to assassinate Hamas leaders in Qatar, urging coordinated action to stop the ongoing war on Gaza, the West Bank, and al-Quds.
In a statement, the movement called on Arab and Islamic states, along with international institutions, to take “decisive measures” against what it described as Israel’s persistent violations of international law.
Hamas urged governments to enforce political and economic boycotts of Israel and work toward isolating it on all international platforms.
The statement also stressed the need to hold Israel accountable for its actions and compel it to comply with international law through collective regional and global pressure.
The appeal coincided with a joint meeting of Arab and Islamic foreign ministers, where participants condemned Israel’s attempted attack in Qatar and its continued military escalation across Palestinian territories.
