Half a million demand Trump’s 3rd impeachment
More than half a million Americans have signed a petition calling on Congress to impeach President Donald Trump for a third time.
The campaign is led by advocacy group Free Speech for People.
It accuses Trump of crimes including abuse of power, defying court orders, profiteering, and misusing presidential authority.
The group unveiled a 16-article impeachment resolution this week, listing charges such as pardoning Jan. 6 rioters, using the military against migrants, and planning the forced expulsion of Palestinians in Gaza.
At least 16 lawmakers, including Reps. Ilhan Omar, Rashida Tlaib and Maxine Waters, support the push.
Though unlikely to pass the Republican-led House, supporters say it’s crucial to hold Trump accountable and rally public resistance.
