EuroFest 2025 to showcase European culture and charity in Kazakhstan
Astana to host EuroFest 2025 on June 1, blending cultural exchange with community support at Gashyktar Park
ASTANA, Kazakhstan (MNTV) — The European Union will bring a vibrant celebration of cultural diversity to Kazakhstan’s capital with EuroFest 2025, scheduled for June 1 at Gashyktar Park. The open-air festival aims to offer residents and visitors a lively mix of European music, cuisine, and traditions, while also raising funds for local charities.
According to DKnews.kz, EuroFest 2025 will run from 12:00 pm to 6:00 pm and feature a European fair, live performances, interactive activities, and exhibitions highlighting EU-funded development projects in Kazakhstan and Central Asia.
Organizers say the event is designed to foster cross-cultural understanding and community spirit. “EuroFest is more than a cultural showcase — it’s a celebration of unity and solidarity,” the EU delegation in Kazakhstan stated in a release.
One of the central attractions will be the European Fair, where participating EU member states will host colorful booths offering traditional foods, drinks, and cultural items. Attendees will be able to sample a wide range of European flavors while learning about customs from across the continent.
The festival will also spotlight EU-backed projects that support education, innovation, and sustainable development in Kazakhstan and the wider Central Asian region. These exhibits aim to raise awareness about ongoing partnerships between the EU and local communities.
Throughout the day, visitors can enjoy an eclectic program of live music and dance, including Spanish flamenco, Romanian folk performances, traditional German songs, and a cultural showcase from Croatia. Dance workshops and interactive shows are also planned to engage audiences of all ages.
For families, the event will offer a variety of games, creative workshops, and children’s activities, ensuring a family-friendly atmosphere.
In addition to its cultural focus, EuroFest 2025 will serve a charitable mission. All proceeds from the event will go toward supporting local nonprofit organizations working in social development and community welfare.
With a backdrop of music, food, and cultural exchange, EuroFest 2025 promises to be one of the city’s most inclusive and meaningful public gatherings of the year.
