Interpol had previously rejected request to issue international arrest warrant for Dodik and Stevandić for whom central arrest warrant was issued in Bosnia & Herzegovina
SARAJEVO, Bosnia & Herzegovina (MNTV) – The Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina has filed a request to review the decision to reject the request to issue an Interpol red warrant for the President of Republika Srpska Milorad Dodik and the President of the National Assembly of Republika Srpska Nenad Stevandić, the Court of BiH confirmed to BHRT.
“Due to the nature of the communication with NCB Interpol, the Court can at this moment only confirm the information that a request to review the decision to reject the request to issue an Interpol red warrant was sent through the NCB Interpol office, while all other circumstances and information are considered confidential,” the Court of BiH explained.
Interpol had previously rejected the request to issue an international arrest warrant for Dodik and Stevandić, for whom a central arrest warrant was issued in BiH.
A central arrest warrant was issued for Dodik and Stevandić, as well as for the Prime Minister of Republika Srpska Radovan Višković, for failing to appear for a hearing at the BiH Prosecutor’s Office in connection with the investigation into an attack on the constitutional order.
