Azerbaijan boosts gas exports in first half of 2025, revenue rises to $4.5B
Gas export volume reaches over 12.3 billion cubic meters, up 4.6% year-on-year
BAKU, Azerbaijan (MNTV) — Azerbaijan increased its natural gas exports to 12.36 billion cubic meters during the first half of 2025, marking a 4.6 percent rise compared to the same period last year, according to data released by the State Customs Committee.
The value of gas exports in the January–June period reached $4.54 billion, up from $4.07 billion in the first half of 2024, when Azerbaijan exported 11.83 billion cubic meters of gas.
The latest figures underscore continued growth in the country’s energy sector, driven by stable demand and expanded export capacity to regional and European markets.
