Taliban is on the doors of Kabul as major cities fall in Afghanistan
The UN says 30 thousands Afghans leaving the country every week. They will join millions of Afghan refugees around the world. About 3 millions are living in Pakistan now for 40 years. This video shows thousands of Afghans crossing the border to Pakistan. But then there are millions who are forced out of their home within Afghanistan. United Nations has a fancy term for them. They are called internally displaced people. They are sitting under the trees in Kabul. Some lost their loved one's in areal bombing. Others flee because of fear. Yet others will simply hungry. SOUNDBITE: V000_9L339J "Today is the ninth day we have been sitting here. I swear we don't have money for food. We are happy that the border will be opened. Today is the second and third day that dead bodies are lying here." The UN warns Afghanistan’s conflict is taking the heaviest toll on displaced women and children. Women and Children.
