Toronto: Israeli Openly Flaunts Terror Logo, Threatens Students with Acid
Compare these four incidents.
August, 2025. A watermelon mural painted by a female Muslim artist in downtown Toronto prompted the immediate cancellation of the project by CNE management. ‘Watermelon was a controversial and political statement, ‘ they said. This was not something they wanted on their walls.
September 2025. A young Scarborough boy in the TDSB system wore a keffiyeh to school. He was sent back home within the hour.
On Sunday, March 24, several hundred protesters rallied in midtown Toronto. Co-sponsored by “Jews Say No to Genocide” and the Palestinian Youth Movement, among others, the peaceful demonstration, advertised as “family friendly,” was immediately classified as anti-Jewish by the police. But the protest was organised by Jews, right? Yes. But who are we to challenge the establishment?
And now, over to the fourth incident, which occurred today. However, chances are that you will never hear about this.
The Incident: Gabriella Bodis, a woman from Toronto, was arrested (and later released) for threatening to “burn” University of Toronto students who were protesting the situation in Gaza. Her weapon of choice? Ammonium hydroxide. A corrosive substance capable of causing severe burns.
The Bigger Story: On September 6, 2025, Gabriella was caught on camera among student protesters, holding a jar of ammonium hydroxide while wearing a black T-shirt featuring a prominent yellow ‘Kach’ logo.
What is Kach? ‘Kahane Chai’ or Kach is affiliated with the Jewish Defense League (JDL). Kach was placed on the US terror list in 2004 but was later removed due to what officials claimed was ‘insufficient evidence’—a development that many find unsurprising. Currently, Kach aligns itself with Netanyahu’s administration and advocates for treating Arabs and Muslims in Israel as vassals in a theocratic Jewish state, stripped of voting rights.
